Frequently Asked Questions with Installation

What type of material should I use for my fence?

There are many materials to choose from, which depends on your location, aesthetics and budget. We provide from vinyl, aluminum, chainlink, composite to wood building materials. Typically vinyl, aluminum, chainlink and composite are lower maintenance and have high longevity. Wood has a lower price point usually and you have more preference points on sealing, staining or painting your fence.

How do I maintain my fence?

With wooden fencing we recommend sealing, staining or painting your fence six to eight months after installation. Wood materials need time to “dry out” naturally and adjust to the climate conditions of the outdoors. Vinyl, aluminum, chainlink and composite require less maintenance usually. Using cleaning solutions that are safe for the above materials or even power washing is a necessity.

Do I need to file for a permit as a homeowner?

We take care of filing for the permit, communicating the layout to zoning requirements and the permit fee. Often you will find that your property is under the requirments of an HoA. HoA approval must be acquired by the homeowner prior to installation. We will need a Plot Plan or Mortgage Survey in order to apply for zoning approval.

What type of material should I use for my deck?

With decks, there are many materials to choose from as well. When it comes to the railing, your choices are vinyl, aluminum, composite and wood. For the actual deck itself you choose between composit or wood. Your location, aesthetics and budget play a role in the abundant choices of what your deck can look like as well.

Do we provide a warrantee?

We provide a one year labor warrantee, which covers repairs due to flaws within the installation period. A longer warrantee is often included by the material manufacturer, which will cover imperfections caused by faulty materials.

How do I maintain my Deck?

When you have a wooden deck installed we recommend sealing, staining or painting your deck six to eight months after installation. Just like with wooden fencing, wood decks need time to “dry out” naturally and adjust to the climate conditions of the outdoors. If you have any type of vinyl, aluminum, or composite, using cleaning solutions that are safe for the above materials or even power washing is a necessity.
